Reminders

Follow-ups you never have to write

Most late invoices aren't disputes. They're forgotten. Tallyroot reminds your client at the right moments, in a tone you choose, so the money arrives and the relationship stays friendly.

A timeline of four reminders ending in a paid checkmark

The default schedule

Every invoice starts with this schedule. On Solo and Studio you can change the timing and the wording, per client or for everyone.

  1. 3 days before due A friendly heads-up with the amount, the due date and the pay link.
  2. On the due date A short note that the invoice is due today.
  3. 7 days late A firmer reminder that the invoice is overdue, with the original attached.
  4. 14 days late A final reminder. If you've agreed a late fee, Tallyroot can add it here.

Stops when they pay

Reminders stop the moment we recieve payment, whether it comes through the pay link or you mark a bank transfer as paid yourself.

Your voice, three tones

Choose warm, neutral or direct. Every reminder is sent from your name and replies go straight to your inbox.

Pause for one client

Agreed a later date on the phone? Pause reminders on that invoice and pick the new due date. The schedule shifts to match.
